All money from the sales of my two solo CDs go to two charities:

World Accord – For thirty years World Accord has been actively involved in highly successful international development projects and programs located in Latin America and Asia – with new and exciting projects being added as we continue to grow.

Orphans Africa – Since 2007, Orphans Africa has been dedicated to the education of orphans and the empowerment of widows in Africa. In partnership with foreign non-governmental, nonprofit charitable organizations through a variety of outreach programs.

Net proceeds from our first Seabillys CDs go to charity, as well.

To purchase any of my CDs, please send me an email, from the Contact page.

     My Band:

The Seabillys – Born from a promise, from Dan to his daughter, to write a song about Sailing Ships… Dan has evolved his love of traditional Celtic and East Coast music, into a joyous fusion with his band mates’ roots in the Rockabilly, Pop and Country music genres. The Seabillys ride the Celtic wind – born of Ireland, blown across the Atlantic to Newfoundland, whistle through the Appalachian Mountains, to BC and beyond.

     Friends:

Jim McGregorJim is former Fire Chief of Langley City, and a frequent collaborator.  He can write a poem on anything.  Once he’s done it I steal it and make a song out of it.  We’ve done many together – “Ugly Truck”  my second cd is mostly our collaboration.  He has just written his first novel: Surfacing

David SinclairDavid toured with Sarah McLaughlin for 10 years, and with KD Lang before that. He is one of Vancouver’s guitar-playing treasures.  David produced my first CD & played almost every instrument on it.

Bruce Kilby – Bruce is a fellow I’ve written songs with, who has also taken on writing Children’s books. It’s a cute site… Fireside Stories Publishing

Ivan Boudreau – A singer songwriter, SAC (Songwriters of Canada) coordinator for their monthly songwriters workshop.  We have played together,  love his silky whisky voice.

Michael Millman – Singer / Songwriter.  We wrote “The World We Leave Behind” together.  Karen Lee Batten sang the demo for us. Michael and I flew to LA for the Taxi convention a few years ago and had a great time.

Don McLeodDon and I wrote “Stars & Stripes.”  Producer, singer songwriter, educator… Don is dedicated to SASS (School Alliance of Student Songwriters) and a force in the Vancouver music scene.

Earl Travis Taylor – I helped Earl with the song “I Miss My Mom”… check it out. He’s got one heck of a whiskey tainted voice.  I love this guy.

LeEtta LaFontainea visual artist, LeEtta is on a quest.  Since January 1st 2010 she has produced an abstract painting every day and emails it to the world.  Sign up with her.  Her e-mail to me is a highlight of my day.    Jim McGregor, LeEtta and I have put together a show called “Playing Off Each Other” where Jim wrote a poem, LeEtta did a painting from it, and I wrote a song to it.

Dave Mercer – Dave is a great guitar player, singer and songwriter.  He and I frequently play together in the SeaBillys.

BC Songwriters – A twice monthly showcase, featuring an “Original Songs Only” format… for both professional and beginner performers.
