Celtic Soul, based in Langley, BC

The Seabillys

Born from a promise, from Dan to his daughter, to write a song about Sailing Ships… Dan has evolved his love of traditional Celtic and East Coast music, into a joyous fusion with his band mates’ roots in the Rockabilly, Pop and Country music genres.

The Seabillys are locally-raised “Hillbillys by the Sea”.

“The Seabillys ride the Celtic wind – born of Ireland, blown across the Atlantic to Newfoundland, whistle through the Appalachian Mountains, to BC and beyond. Brian Best (guitar/banjo), Kat Goheen ( fiddle/bodhran drum), Mark Messcu (Stand Up Bass), Dan Beer (guitar). And we all sing, stomp and have a good time.”

The Seabillys in Langley - DanBeerMusic.comThe SeaBillys – a group of rag, tag veterans of the music wars out to carve their initials into Irish and East Coast Celtic sound, with a West Coast Pirate’s Cutlass….  Arghhh !!!
